Sequel to BETTER NATE THAN EVER
When I read the title of this sequel, I laughed out loud. Hilarious. Clever. Just briliant. I absolutely love this series. It’s cheeky and it makes me laugh. And you can’t help but root for Nate as he does his best to stay on top of the amazing life-experience of being cast in his first Broadway show! SO FUNNY. And it’s populated with some familiar characters, precocious kids, stage moms, favorite aunts, but all tied together in an appealing and fresh package that is Tim Federle’s effortless, witty and endearing style of writing. You don’t have to be a theatre geek to get a kick out of this. But it will definitely deepen your appreciation.
I also thought the crush/young love part was handled with humor and a sweetness that felt real and not televisionized.
I hope there will be a third. I hope, I hope.
Read the first book before this one. It’s filled with hilarious set-up for this second round of wit and humor, adventure and heart. Anxiously awaiting the next installment.
