BETTER NATE THAN EVER

This book is great geeky fun, and Nate and his pal Libby are hilarious!
I read it start to finish in one afternoon.
I wish I’d had a book like this when I was 11. Or 17.
To know that there were other kids out there like me, who not only felt like a misfit and unspecial… but who also find a whole world where we can fit in.
Nate wants to be on Broadway. In a musical version of E.T. the Extraterrestrial. So with the help of his mastermind friend Libby, they come up with a plan for him to run away from home (just for a weekend) to audition for his first Broadway musical. He’s in for a lot of surprises.
Nate’s sense of humor and his observation of the people and the strange new city around him are just hilarious. Even if you don’t get all the theatre references (but of course I did), it’s a very funny read, with endearing characters that make you root for them right from the start.
I can’t wait to read the sequel:
FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, NATE.
(so clever)
